Doral Academy - Red Rock Campus

Greetings, everyone! My name is Amy Ciarolla. I am the Director/Teacher for the Aprende Academy Preschool at the Doral Academy – Red Rock Campus. This is my fifth year at Doral Academy and I can't wait to get started!

I earned my degree in early childhood education right here in Las Vegas where I live with my husband and two beautiful children. I have spent the past 19 years teaching and directing early childhood programs all around our valley. I am so excited to be a part of the team here at Doral Academy because of their arts integrated learning philosophy. Music and art play a huge role in my life and I can't wait to share this passion with my students!

In my spare time you would most likely find me spending time with my family swimming, playing guitar, or hanging with my kiddos and my 7 nieces and nephews. I absolutely love teaching young children and couldn't imagine myself doing anything else. I am looking forward to an amazing school year ahead!

Hello, my name is Holly Cruz. I am the assistant teacher for Aprende Academy Pre-K @ Doral Academy Red Rock Campus. This will be my fourth year with Aprende, however I have been teaching in the early education field for 15 years. I am originally from California which is where I started my teaching career.

I moved to Las Vegas in 2009 with my three wonderful boys. In my free time, I enjoy going dancing, to the movies, to dinner, and hiking with our family dog. I also have a love for searching on Pinterest for new ideas and activities for the classroom. I believe children learn best through play and exploration with hands on and open ended learning experiences.

I am looking forward to bringing in creative ways to make learning fun and exciting for our students.
